Fury’s manager Spencer Brown hinted at a fight with Usyk on Christmas Day
Spencer Brown, manager of British boxer Tyson Fury, revealed details of the organization of the fight with Ukrainian Alexander Usik. The expert’s words are quoted by Boxing Social.
“If you have a heavyweight boxing match on your Christmas wish list that you want to see, then that wish could very well come true,” Brown hinted, adding that the fight is being organized by partners from Saudi Arabia.
On September 14, Fury announced that he no longer wanted to fight Usyk. The fight between the Briton and the Ukrainian was repeatedly disrupted. The parties were unable to agree on the distribution of fees.
Usik has 21 victories in 21 fights. He holds the World Boxing Organization (WBO), International Boxing Federation (IBF), International Boxing Organization (IBO) and WBA Super heavyweight championship belts.
Fury has 33 wins, one draw and no losses. He holds the World Boxing Council (WBC) heavyweight championship belt.
