The Conference League game between Tottenham and Rennes, scheduled for this Thursday in London, has been postponed to an undefined date after the outbreak of covid-19 at the English club, announced Uefa.
The organization thus ends the problem created on Wednesday, when Tottenham announced the postponement of the match and was immediately contested by the French club.

“More information will be released soon,” said Uefa.
Eight players and five members of the London team’s coaching staff tested positive for covid-19.
At the same time, Leicester will face Napoli in the Europa League without seven players.
Finding a date for the match between Tottenham and Rennes will be tricky, as Tottenham have six matches to play in England until 28 December.

And if rescheduling the game is impossible, the Uefa regulations foresee, from the 2020-21 season onwards, two new risks of defeat due to non-attendance linked to covid-19, each time with a result of 3-0.
The European football body regulations stipulate that a match must be played if teams have a minimum of 13 players, including a goalkeeper.
