Head coach Dmitry Khokhlov left Sochi
The head coach of the Sochi football club, Dmitry Khokhlov, left his post. This was reported on the team’s official website.
“Our club thanks Dmitry Valerievich for the joint work done and wishes him good luck in his future career and throughout his life,” says the club’s press service. It is noted that the agreement with the specialist was terminated by mutual consent of the parties. The team will be headed by Alexander Tochilin, who served as head coach from 2018 to 2019, as well as in 2022.
Khokhlov, 47, received this position in April 2023 after Kurban Berdyev left the team. The specialist is also known for his work in Krasnodar “Kuban”, Moscow “Dynamo” and Volgograd “Rotor”.
On August 15, Akhmat terminated the contract with head coach Sergei Tashuev. This resignation was the first in the Russian Premier League in the 2023/2024 season. Then Orenburg parted ways with Czech head coach Jiri Jarosik.
