FourFourTwo included the emblems of CSKA and Zenit in the top 100 best in football history
The FourFourTwo portal has compiled the top 100 best football club emblems in history. The rating is published in alphabetical order on the website.
Two Russian teams were included in the rating: St. Petersburg Zenit and Moscow CSKA. “As Russian as Vladimir Putin drinking vodka in a fur hat, the CSKA emblem was introduced in 2003 and then updated in 2008 to become bigger, bolder and brighter,” the army’s emblem is said.
The blue-white-blue emblem raised questions among the drafters, since the name of the club is indicated on it in Russian. “It took too long to realize that this is not written in the alphabet we know and love, but we know good design when we see it,” the description notes.
Zenit is the current champion of Russia. CSKA is the current winner of the National Cup.
