The owners of Juventus have denied information about the sale of the club
The owners of Juventus responded to information about the sale of the club. The words of a representative of the holding company of the Agnelli family of entrepreneurs Exor, which owns the team, are quoted by ANSA.
“The hypotheses put forward by the newspaper regarding the sale of Juventus are without any basis,” Exor denied rumors about an impending change of owner.
Earlier on September 11, the publication Il Giornale stated that the Italian club was put up for sale due to financial problems. “Today Juventus is in a clear crisis, at the center of legal proceedings,” the message noted.
On July 28, the Union of European Football Associations decided to exclude Juventus from European competition. Due to a violation of financial fair play, the team will not be able to take part in European tournaments for one year.
