Expert Gulyaeva advised pregnant women to do low-intensity cardio training
Fitness trainer Yulia Gulyaeva recommended exercises that can be done by pregnant women. Her words are quoted by Gazeta.Ru.
The expert noted that the most favorable time for training during pregnancy is the second trimester. At the same time, she emphasized that you can do the exercises only with the permission of a doctor, and when doing them, make sure that there is no discomfort.
“At this time, low-intensity cardio training (walking, elliptical, swimming) lasting 30-40 minutes is allowed. Running and any jumping load should be excluded,” Gulyaeva said. She also recommended paying attention to the back muscles, working with chest mobility and breathing.
Earlier, trainer Alena Gribanova spoke about types of fitness prohibited for pregnant women. The expert explained that high-intensity and strength training are contraindicated.
