Several regions of Russia were attacked by drones at once. According to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, three drones were shot down over the Bryansk region, two – over the Oryol region, one – over the Kaluga region, two – in the Ryazan region. Drones also attacked the Pskov airport, the Sevastopol Bay area and the Moscow region.
So, Pskov airport, which is both civilian and military, was attacked at night. The Ministry of Emergency Situations announced the fire of two military transport Il-76s during an UAV attack. TASS reports damage to four aircraft. All flights were canceled at the airport, its work was stopped until August 31. The website of the air harbor states that “the 334th military transport Berlin Red Banner Aviation Regiment, armed with Il-76 aircraft, is deployed at the airfield.”
Also, the governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhaev, specified that in the area of the Sevastopol Bay at night, the military repelled attacks by drones from the sea. And the Ministry of Defense reported on the destruction of four boats in the Black Sea. In them, according to the department, there were up to 50 Ukrainian servicemen.
Last night, two aircraft-type drones were shot down in the Ryazan region – one at around 2.30 Moscow time, the second at around 4:00. At the same time, Andriy Klychkov, the governor of the Oryol region, reported on his Telegram channel that two Ukrainian drones were shot down over the territory of the region. The airspace over the Oryol region was closed, the “Carpet” mode was introduced. The same regime was introduced over the Kaluga region, where a drone was noticed and destroyed around 02:00 Moscow time on August 30. As the governor of the region Vladislav Shapsha clarified, the drone hit an empty tank for oil products in the Dzerzhinsky district. It was empty: the fire was quickly extinguished.
The seventh region that was attacked by Ukrainian drones on the night of August 30 was the Moscow region. An aircraft-type drone was intercepted and crashed over the Ruza region. The drone was found and put out of action around 03:30, the Ministry of Defense specified. As Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin clarified in his Telegram channel, there were no casualties.
