Ural defeated Rostov 1-0 in the Russian Cup match
Yekaterinburg “Ural” defeated “Rostov” in the second round match of the group stage of the Russian Cup of the way of the Russian Premier League (RPL). This was reported by the correspondent of “Lenta.ru”.
The meeting was held in Yekaterinburg and ended with the score 1:0 in favor of the hosts. The only goal in the 41st minute was scored by midfielder Alexander Yushin. After two rounds, Ural and Rostov scored three points each.
In the next round, the Ekaterinburg club will meet on the road with Rubin Kazan on August 29. Rostov will host Lokomotiv Moscow a day later.
In the RPL, Rostov is in seventh place with four points. In the last match, the team suffered a crushing defeat from the Samara “Wings of the Soviets” with a score of 1:5. Ural is in fourth place with seven points.
