Switzerland wins the Mixed Team Time Trial World Championship; France and Germany, silver and bronze

Swiss ha cattlethis Tuesday, the test of mixed team time trial of the Cycling World Championship which is being disputed in Glasgow (Scotland). The sextet formed by Marlen Reusser, Nicole Koller, Elise Chabbey, Mauro Schmid, Stefan Kung, and Stefan Bissegger has been the fastest in the test, in which France and Germany have been classified in second and third position, respectively. Thus, Switzerland, as in 2022, has been proclaimed world champion and has won the gold medal, France has taken the silver medaland Germany has got the bronze medal. The San Sebastian cyclist Xabier Mikel Azparren has participated in the race, with the Spanish team, which has obtained the eleventh position.
In this context, Switzerland completed the 40.3 kilometers of the time trial in 54 minutes, 16 seconds and 20 hundredths. France needed seven seconds and eight hundredths more, and Germany, for its part, set a time 51 seconds and 31 hundredths higher than that of the Swiss team.
In France, Juliette Labous, Cedrine Kerbaol, Audrey Cordon Ragot, Bryan Coquard, Remi Cavagna and Bruno Armirail have participated; and Franziska Koch, Lisa Klein, Ricarda Bauernfeind, Richard Maximilian Walscheid, Jannik Steimle, and Miguel Heidemann have given Germany the bronze medal.
The United Kingdom and Italy have finished, respectively, in fourth and fifth place, and have maintained their hopes of reaching the podium until the end.
