O Guild announced, this Tuesday, that it reached an agreement for the termination of the contract of midfielder Darlan. The athlete is signed with PFK Levski Sofia, from Bulgaria.
In order to alleviate the payroll, Tricolor Gaúcho agreed to release its athlete free of charge, but kept 30% of the economic rights of the 25-year-old player. The bond with his new club will be valid for three seasons.

Last season, Darlan was loaned to Youth e Chapecoense to win minutes. However, in early 2023, coach Renato Gaúcho asked the player to return to Imortal to evaluate him closely, but even so, there was no space.
The midfielder is an old promise from Grêmio’s youth teams, but has not reached the expected potential. Darlan was even used frequently from 2019 to 2021, but has been increasingly neglected since then.
Grêmio returns to the field this Wednesday to face Flamengo for the semifinal first leg of the Brazil’s Cup, at 21:30 (from Brasilia), in Porto Alegre. The return is scheduled for the 16th of August, at Maracanã.
