The actor, theatrical figure and film director Mikhail Mammadov died. He died at the age of 72 in Moscow, MK reports with reference to Shot.
As it became known, the director of “Streets of Broken Lanterns” last Monday, July 24, came to the clinic in Rizhsky Proyezd in Moscow for a scheduled appointment, when he suddenly had a heart attack.
An ambulance was called to the cultural figure, but the doctors could not save him: the man died as a result of acute heart failure.
Mikhail Mamedov is a laureate of a number of international and Russian festivals. In 1975 he graduated from the Voronezh State Institute of Arts, in 1981 – the directing department of GITIS. In 1986-1988 he worked in the theater. Mayakovsky.
From 1995 to 2000 he was a full-time director of the Comedy Theater, which was transformed into the Theater of the Moon.
Mammadov staged performances in Russia, Germany, Turkey, Bulgaria, Hungary and Belarus, and also directed such series and films as Streets of Broken Lanterns – 8, Web-1. Payback”, “This is life” and “Furious, furious, rabid…”.
