Trainer Movold advised runners to do a full grip exercise to pump the muscles of the core
Coach Jess Movold has named a way for runners to build core muscles. His words are quoted by Men’s Health.
The specialist advised doing the “full grip” exercise. Movold noted that it will help runners become more enduring. To perform the exercise, you need to lie on your back, raise your legs and arms off the floor and hold them. In this case, the lower back should remain on the surface.
Movold also suggested adding several variations of the exercise. First – from the starting position, press your knees to your chest and lock in this position. Then stretch your arms and legs and transfer the weight alternately to the right and left buttocks and shoulder blades.
Another option is to start rocking back and forth from the starting position, keeping your pelvis in place. In this case, the back should be completely off the floor.
Earlier, Indian model Kriti Sanon named the best exercise for working on the muscles of the core. According to her, the bar on the treadmill will do just fine with this task.
