Boxer Lebedev said that Oleksandr Usyk would be a better president of Ukraine than Zelensky
Russian boxer Denis Lebedev reacted to the desire of Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk to become president of Ukraine. His words are quoted by Sport24.
“Unfortunately, they already have a bad experience with [Владимиром] Zelensky. By comparison, I think Usyk will be the best president,” Lebedev said. At the same time, he considered that Usyk loves his country, but did not rule out that his words are bravado.
On July 14, Usyk announced his intention to run for the presidency of Ukraine. He said that he would return to the first heavyweight, once again become the absolute champion and then he would run for president.
Usyk has 20 wins in 20 fights. He holds the World Boxing Organization (WBO), International Boxing Organization (IBO), International Boxing Federation (IBF) and WBA Super heavyweight championship belts.
