Cheryshev joined Venice in August 2022 as a free agent. His contract with the club is valid until 30 June 2024. Portal Transfermarkt estimates the value of the 32-year-old player at 1 million euros.

Last season, Cheryshev played 24 matches in the Italian Serie B. The Russian scored four goals and two assists. “Venice” took eighth place in the standings of the championship.
