Camavinga will have a clause of 1 billion euros in renewal with Real Madrid, says newspaper

After gaining more space last season, defensive midfielder Eduardo Camavinga is close to renewing his link with the Real Madrid. According to the newspaper Brandthe 20-year-old athlete agreed to renew with the team until June 2028.

In addition to receiving a significant adjustment to his salary, the Frenchman will also have his termination clause increased to 1 billion euros (about R$ 5.3 billion at current prices). In this way, Real would protect itself from possible harassment by other teams for its jewel.

Still according to the Spanish vehicle, the club’s directors decided to reward Camavinga with the renewal due to the good performances that the player had during the last few months. The number 12 played both in midfield and improvised on the left side under the command of Carlo Ancelotti.

Hired in 2021 for €31 million, Camavinga was still a promise when he landed in Madrid. The young man revealed by Rennes was one of the names chosen for the team’s renewal process along with other athletes, such as the Brazilians Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo.

Last season, the midfielder played in 59 matches for Real and was even called up by Didier Deschamps to play in the 2022 World Cup with France.
