Spartak will play in the group with Dynamo and Krasnodar in the 2023/2024 Russian Cup season
The draw for the group stage of the Russian Cup season 2023/2024 has taken place. The results are available on the website of the Russian Football Union (RFU).
Teams of the Russian Premier League are divided into four groups. CSKA Moscow, Orenburg, Sochi and Fakel Voronezh will play in Group A. In quartet B, Rostov, Lokomotiv Moscow, Ural Yekaterinburg and Rubin Kazan will fight for the playoffs.
Group C to the reigning national champion Zenit included Akhmat Grozny, Samara Krylya Sovetov and Kaliningrad Baltika. Group D included Spartak Moscow and Dynamo, as well as Krasnodar and Paris Nizhny Novgorod.
Earlier on June 24, the RPL presented the full calendar for the 2023/2024 season. The tournament will traditionally be held in 30 rounds. The first matches will take place on July 21, 2023. The final matches of the tournament are scheduled for May 25, 2024.
