Former Poland football player Maciej Rybus signed a contract with Rubin Kazan
Former Polish national team defender Maciej Rybus has signed a contract with Rubin Kazan. This was reported on the website of the Russian team.
The agreement with the 33-year-old footballer is for one season. It is noted that Rybus moved to Rubin as a free agent.
On June 22, Spartak Moscow terminated the contract with Rybus. Red-blue said that the contract was canceled by agreement of the parties. The team wished the defender success in his future career.
Rybus moved from Lokomotiv Moscow to Spartak in June 2022. The player’s contract was calculated until 2024. Last season, he played 12 matches in the Moscow team and scored one goal.
Due to the transfer to the Russian club, Rybus was suspended from playing for the Polish national team. The football player missed the 2022 World Cup in Qatar and announced his retirement from the national team.
