Marlen Reusser wins the Tour of Switzerland and Fisher-Black the last stage

marlen russer (Team SD Worx) won the overall Tour of Switzerland Tuesday, while her teammate Niamh Fisher-Black took victory in the sprint of the fourth and final stage, from 100.8 kilometers of route with beginning and end in Ebnat-Kappel.
Reusser struggled to defend her yellow jersey in the final stage when Kasia Niewiadoma (Canyon-SRAM) started a long breakaway that put her overall lead in jeopardy for the Swiss. Seen the danger Reusser embarked on a solo pursuit while Fisher-Black filmed with Niewiadoma.
New Zealand’s Fisher-Black passed Niewiadoma at the finish line, while Reusser reduced the gap enough to be third on the stage and secure her final victory overall.
