Eddie Hearn Says Joshua Is Offered From Saudi Arabia To Fight Wilder
Eddie Hearn, promoter of British boxer Anthony Joshua, spoke about the organization of the fight of the athlete against American Deontay Wilder. Hearn’s words are quoted by the iFL TV YouTube channel.
“Saudi Arabia? Yes, we have an offer from there to fight Wilder, but the contract has not yet been drawn up. We are waiting,” said the promoter.
On April 14, it became known that in December 2023 in Saudi Arabia they plan to organize a tournament with the participation of four boxers. “Three fights are scheduled: Fury vs. Usyk, Wilder vs. Joshua and the two winners of these fights will face each other,” English businessman Simon Jordan explained.
Joshua, 33, has 25 wins and three losses in his professional career. Wilder, 37, has 43 wins, 42 of which came by knockout, two losses and one draw.
