Footballer Fedor Smolov extended the contract with Dynamo until the end of the 2023/2024 season
Russian striker Fedor Smolov has extended his contract with Dynamo Moscow. This was reported on the team’s website.
The new agreement with the 33-year-old football player is calculated until the end of the 2023/2024 season with the possibility of an extension for another year. Zeljko Buvac, deputy general director for sports of Dynamo, said that Smolov was and remains one of the best Russian strikers.
Smolov moved to Dynamo in 2022. He took part in 46 matches for the team, in which he scored 19 goals and gave 9 assists.
The forward has already played for Dynamo from 2006 to 2015, going on loan several times during this time – to Feyenoord, Ural and Anji. With blue and white, he signed the first professional contract in his career. Later, Smolov also played for Krasnodar and the Spanish Celta.
