Foot Mercato: Neymar refuses €400m contract with Saudi club
Paris Saint-Germain striker Neymar has turned down an offer from a Saudi Arabian football club. This became known to Foot Mercato.
According to the publication, the 31-year-old Brazilian refused the contract, the annual salary of which would be 400 million euros. It is noted that such a decision was made, as Neymar plans to continue performing in Europe.
It is also reported that the most likely transfer option is Manchester United. However, according to the source, the transition will depend on whether Qatari investment company QSI, led by Sheikh Jasim bin Hamad Al Thani, buys the team.
On May 4, it was reported that Neymar was ready to leave PSG. Earlier it became known that the Parisian team would like to part with the striker in the summer of 2023. Due to an injury, he has not been on the field since February.
Neymar has been with PSG since the summer of 2017. The cost of the player is estimated at 70 million euros.
