According to a statement released by the club, the player was injured during the victory against Fulham by 2-1, for the last round of the English Championship. The Frenchman came on in the 22nd minute of the second half in place of Alejandro Garnacho.
During the season, Anthony Martial suffered from injuries. Thus, the striker participated in 27 games, between Europa LeaguePremier League and English League Cup, with nine goals and three assists.
