Artem Dzyuba extended the contract with Lokomotiv until the end of the 2023/2024 season
Forward Artem Dziuba has extended his contract with Lokomotiv. This was reported on the official website of the team.
“Negotiations were held quickly and with full mutual understanding on both sides. Now our common goals are to return the Lokomotiv football club to the leading positions,” said Dmitry Ulyanov, sports director of the club.
The new agreement with the 34-year-old football player is calculated until the end of the 2023/2024 season with the possibility of a year extension.
On May 24, journalist Ivan Karpov named the salary that the railway workers offered Dziuba under a new contract. According to him, the forward will be paid 120 million rubles a year.
Dzyuba moved to Lokomotiv on February 8. In the 2022/2023 season, he played 11 matches for the team, scored eight goals and made four assists.
