An air defense system went off over the Belgorod region, and a drone was shot down on approach to the city. According to RBC, this was announced by the governor of the Belgorod region Vyacheslav Gladkov.
At the same time, in the Yakovlevsky city district, they began to eliminate unexploded ordnance, which was found the day before in a field near the Kalinin farm. The place where the projectile fell was cordoned off, residents of nearby streets were temporarily taken out to a safe distance.
The Belgorod region is regularly shelled and attacked by drones. Gladkov reported on the destruction of drones day and night on May 24. On the same day, a drone dropped a bomb on the roadway in Belgorod, damaging the car.
