Manchester City come back to PSG and qualify for the last 16 of the Champions League as the first of their group

The Manchester City beat Paris Saint-Germain 2-1 this Wednesday in a duel of the 5th day of the Champions League, a result that qualifies both teams for the round of 16 thanks to Bruges’ defeat against RB Leipzig (5-0).

Kylian Mbappé put the Parisians ahead at the beginning of the second half (50), but Manchester City, superior to their rival throughout the game, turned the score around with goals from Raheem Sterling (63) and Brazilian Gabriel Jesús (76) .

With these results, City are classified as first in the group with 12 points, while PSG will do so as second, with 8.

RB Leipzig is tied with Bruges with 4 points, but the win in Belgium guarantees them third place, which will allow them to play the Europa League. (D)
