Lorena Weibes (SD Works) added another stage victory in the Vuelta a Burgos after winning at the Aranda de Duero finish line, imposing his superiority and that of his team, depriving the breakaway of achieving a stage victory. Second was Elisa Balsamo (Trek Segrafedo) and third Sheyla Gutierrez (Movistar).
Several leaks were formed that did not have continuity. In the end, Morgane Coston (Cofidis) pushed forward. He was followed behind by a group made up of Sheyla Gutiérrez (Movistar), Karolina Kumiega (UAE), Kathrin Hammes (EF Education), Jessenia Meneses (Colombia), Sofía Rodríguez (Bizkaia Durango), Debora Silvestri (Laboral Kutxa), María Paula Latriglia (Eneicat), which it took just 4 kilometers to neutralize.
The breakaway entered Aranda de Duero to dispute the victory between them, but the peloton came from behind and 300 meters from the finish line pounced on them. So, in a final sprint, Lorena Weibes imposed her superioritywith a change of pace less than 50 meters from the finish line.
