He Tour of Italy 2023 will dispute his second stage he sunday may 7 with the first long-distance race of the edition, with a route of 201 kilometers between I love you and Saint Salvo and an accumulated unevenness of 1400 meters.
The stage will alternate flat sections with others of short climbs such as bellante, counterwar and colonella before reaching up Silvi Paese (4th category)where a climb of about 4 kilometers will award the first points for the Grand Prix of the Mountain.
Non-scoring promotion to Chieti will be followed by the second scoring port of the day Ripa Teatina 4th category. Once back on the coast, the race continues to the finish line in San Salvo.
The last few kilometers are practically straight and flat, ideal for sprinting if one of the cyclists fails to stand out from the peloton.
