Manchester City beats West Ham with Haaland’s record and knocks Arsenal out of the Premier League

This Wednesday, the Manchester City received the West Ham in a delayed match of the 28th round of the Premier League and won the match by 3 to 0. With the result, City takes the lead of the English Championship, with 79 points, and leaves Arsenal behind. The team led by Pep Guardiola still has one game less in relation to the Gunners, who have 78 points. West Ham, on the other hand, has 34 points, in 15th place.

Manchester City’s next commitment will be this Saturday, at 11 am (Brasília time), against Leeds United, at home, for the Premier League. West Ham now visits Manchester United on Sunday at 3 pm (Brasília time).

Simultaneously this Wednesday, the Liverpool received Fulham and also won their match by 1 to 0. Salah, from the penalty spot, scored for the Reds in the 39th minute of the first half and secured the three points.

Now, Liverpool has 59 points, remains fifth and opens five points in relation to Tottenham. At this point, Klopp’s team is in position to secure a place in next season’s Europa League. On the other hand, Fulham continues with 45 points and isolated in tenth position.

Liverpool returns to the field for the Premier League this Saturday at 13:30 to receive Brentford. Fulham now face Leicester City, at home, this Monday at 11 am.
