The weight of the Russian woman was 63.5 kilograms, which is almost two kilograms more than the allowed norm. Rival Alekseeva, Swiss Stephanie Egger weighs 61.23 kilograms. The decision to cancel the fight or conduct it with a penalty percentage of the fee to the opponent has not yet been made.
Alekseeva and Egger were supposed to meet in the octagon on April 30. For the Swiss, this is the sixth fight in the organization.
32-year-old Alekseeva, known as Russian Ronda, competes in the bantamweight division. Previously, she took part in battles in another American promotion – Bellator. She has four wins and one loss. Egger has won seven victories and three losses in her career.
