Russian freestyler Maria Dobrova spoke about the injury received during a fight in Sochi. Her words are quoted by TASS.
“With a concussion, but I will live. They say that in two weeks everything will be fine, ”Dobrova said. She added that doctors put several stitches on the wound on her head.
The athlete also revealed the details of the conflict that took place at the Rosa Ski Inn hotel. She said that she and her boyfriend Artem Nabiulin had a dispute with an unknown man and his companion. “When the man started to smash the face of my young man, I ran up to push him away and lift Artyom. And then the girl of that guy ran up and broke my head with a bottle of beer, ”Dobrova explained.
On April 5, the Kub Mash Telegram channel reported that 23-year-old Dobrova had a fight with her boyfriend on vacation in Krasnaya Polyana. She allegedly called the reception of the hotel where they were staying and asked to be rescued. Later, the freestyler denied the information that Nabiulin had beaten her.
Dobrova performs in ski-cross. Her best results are the bronze of the 2018 Russian Championship and the silver of the 2018 European Cup.
