Likewise, it is reiterated that said capture margin can be modified “depending on the biological – fishing and / or environmental factors that the Institute of the Sea of Peru – IMARPE”.
In this way, the extractive activities of the hammerhead shark resource will end when the maximum number allowed is reached or estimated to be reached.
In the event of non-compliance with the provisions, the sanction established in Decree Law No. 25977, General Fisheries Law, the regulation approved by Supreme Decree No. 012-2001-PE, the regulation of Inspection and Sanction of Fishing and Aquaculture Activities will be applied. , approved by Supreme Decree No. 017-2017-PRODUCE, and other applicable legal provisions.
