With Del Piero on the rostrum, the Juventus beat Verona 1-0 this Saturday afternoon, at their stadium, in a game valid for the 28th round of the Italian Championship. The goal was scored by Moise Kean, ten minutes into the second half.
With the result, Velha Senhora went to 44 points, remaining in seventh position, but now closer to Roma, who have 47 and play this Sunday. The team from Verona is still in 18th place, with only 19 points.
Juve’s next commitment will be this Tuesday, against Inter Milan, in the first game of the Italian Cup semifinal, at 4 pm (Brasília time), at home.
For the Italian, the team returns to the field next Saturday, against Lazio, the same day that Verona receives Sassuolo.
The game
In the 14th minute, Verona took advantage of a mistake by the Juventus defense and left on the right side, with a cross for Depaoli, inside the area, to finish. The ball dribbled before bouncing off the crossbar.
At 21 minutes, after a quick exchange of passes, Danilo was fouled in the middle, just before entering the area. In the collection, Cuadrado sent it over the goal.
At 35, Fagioli played for Milik, who made the pivot well and ended up knocked down almost inside the area. In another free-kick, after a rehearsed play, Danilo took the shot on the post, after a slight deviation. In the corner, the defense took. In a new attack, Cuadrado took a risk from afar, low, close to the goal.
After the break, after ten minutes, Miretti, who came on to help in midfield, found Locatelli, who passed the ball to Kean, inside the area. He didn’t mess around and scored with class.
More truncated, the game ended up getting more faulty in the sequence. Until, in the 37th minute, Szczesny made a great save from Terracciano, who had just entered. Shortly after, after a rehearsed move, Bremer missed a goal in an incredible chance.
