The Italian coach spoke about the national team’s interest in signing him. Ancelotti said he was satisfied with the possibility, but reaffirmed his willingness to fulfill his contract with Real Madrid, which runs until June 2024.
“If it’s true that the national team wants me, that delights me. But there is a contract that I want to fulfill”, he commented. “I’m not surprised that there are these rumours. It doesn’t worry me. At the moment what worries me is to comply with this club. Everything is quite clear, I’ll stay here until Real Madrid allows it.”
The Brazilian team has been without a coach since Tite left at the end of last year. Without the coach, Brazil returned to the field last Saturday under the command of Ramon Menezes, coach of the under-20 team, who took over the position on an interim basis. At the time, the team was defeated 2-1 by Morocco.
