Torpedo terminated the contract with head coach Andrey Talalaev
Moscow “Torpedo” terminated the contract with the head coach Andrey Talalaev. This was reported on the club’s website.
It is noted that the decision to terminate cooperation was made by agreement of the parties. “We express our gratitude to Andrei Viktorovich for the joint work. Great efforts were made to train the players, develop the team and the club. We sincerely wish Andrei Viktorovich a successful continuation of his coaching career,” said team president Yaroslav Savin.
Talalaev was appointed to the post in October 2022. During his work, the team could not rise in the standings and with eight points remains the worst in the Russian Premier League (RPL).
Talalaev became the third coach replaced by Torpedo during the 2022/2023 season. Previously, Nikolai Kovardaev and Alexander Borodyuk also worked with the team.
