Euskaltel-Euskadi travels to Africa for the first time and will take part in the Rwanda Tour

Euskaltel-Euskadi will be in an African competition for the first time, since will contest the Tour of Rwanda between February 19 and 26. will be eight stages in which the team will be made up of Xabier Berasategi, Mikel Bizkarra, Asier Etxeberria, Unai Iribar and Mikel Iturriaunder the direction of Pello Olaberria.
A total of 20 teams they will be at the start of the Rwanda Tour. The route is very mountainous and has a total unevenness of more than 20,000 meters, also in height and with heat. The profiles hardly give rest, they have numerous ports and several stages end uphill. The main one will be the fifth, with more than 4,000 meters of unevenness, and the race will be decided in the last two days, in the capital, Kigali, and in the prestigious Mur Kigali.
