In “Mina” said that the cause of the fight with “Shinnik” was the behavior of the Russians
Ukrainian football club “Minaj” on Instagram (social network is banned in Russia; belongs to the Meta company, which is recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation) spoke about the fight between the players and the players of the Yaroslavl “Shinnik” in Turkey.
“The cause of the clash was the shameful behavior of the Russian team football players towards the hotel employee and provocative shouts towards the Transcarpathians,” the club noted. At the same time, they did not specify what exactly happened between the Russians and the hotel employee.
The club emphasized that during the fight the players were in equal numbers, and after the players of “Shinnik” staged a skirmish with each other. Minai also denied the information that its representatives forced the employee of Shinnik to sing the anthem of Ukraine. The club added that they did not want to live with the Russians in the same hotel.
On February 13, the players of the Russian and Ukrainian teams staged a mass brawl in the Turkish Royal Seginus hotel. Police and an ambulance were called to the scene. The police made no arrests. Shinnik said that the Russian players stood up for their teammate, who was attacked by the Ukrainians.
