Porto is in second place in the competition. The Dragon tries to reduce the advantage to the Benfica, which is currently eight points. Coach Sérgio Conceição has several problems for the match. Porto’s preparation was without seven players, who are recovering from physical problems.

On the other hand, Sporting tries to enter the classification zone for the Champions League. The Lions are five points behind Braga, who face Marítimo and want to remain the main surprise of the championship. Leader Benfica, in turn, had its match for the round anticipated and will not play this weekend.
Porto and Sporting have met twice this season. In the first of them, the Dragons won by 3-0, in a match valid for the Portuguese’s first round. On the second occasion, this Sunday’s visitors beat the Lions once again, by 2-0, in the final of the Portuguese League Cup.
