Harry Styles wins song of the year at the Brit Awards for ‘As It Was’, and album of the year for ‘Harry’s House’, and thanks One Direction

The 29-year-old British singer Harry Styles is the winner of the best song of the year at the Brit Awards 2023 for his song As It Was, “The most fun to do in the time I’ve been creating music”, as he said when receiving the trophy today, at The 02 Arena, in London.

Upon receiving his award from singer Shania Twain, he thanked his friends for supporting him in this triumph, which He competed with artists such as Sam Smith and Kim Petras (unholy), LF System (Afraid to Feel), George Ezra (Green Green Grass), Louis Capaldi (forget me), Cat Burns (go) and Ed Sheeran and Elton John (Merry Christmas).

Dressed in a relaxed gray suit, Styles did not forget his groupmates, One Direction (2010-2016), and named them on stage, with a special call out to Louis Tomlinson, and his fans, the one directioners.

The Album of the Year Award (Harry’s House) was received with an ovation from the public, and with the joy of Styles to obtain it from the hands of the American actor and producer stanley tucci. “I am proud to be British and to celebrate British art and music,” he said.

The gala featured special performances by sam smithnow without the inflatable suit, and his partner Kim Petras, and also from Adele; everything closed with a show orchestrated by David Guetta.
