Algoz of PSG, Olympique de Marseille will face Annecy (from the second division), in the quarterfinals of the French Cup, as defined by the draw held this Thursday.
Marseille, who became the big favorites for the title after their great performance against PSG on Wednesday (in which they won 2-1), are looking to break a title drought that dates back to 2012.
Another favorite, Lyon, will face another French Ligue 2 team, Grenoble, in a duel that is worth a place in the semifinals of the tournament.
The only clash between Ligue 1 teams will be between Nantes and Lens, who this Thursday eliminated Lorient on penalties (4-2 after a 1-1 draw).
Midfielder Angelo Fulgini opened the scoring for Lens in the 21st minute and Enzo Le Fée equalized in the final stretch (84).
In terms of penalties, Le Fée was the first to take the penalty shot and wasted it, as was Ibrahima Koné, whose kick was saved by goalkeeper Jean-Louis Leca.
The quarterfinals of the French Cup will take place on February 28 and March 1.
French Cup quarter-finals:
Olympic Marseille (L1) x Annecy (L2)
Lyon (L1) x Grenoble (L2)
Toulouse (L1) x Rodez (L2)
Nantes (L1) x Lens (L1)
