In a statement issued this Thursday, Real Valladolid declared that it is taking action to identify and punish fans who practiced racism against striker Vinícius Júnior, from Real Madrid. The Brazilian was the victim of racial insults in the game of the 15th round of the Spanish Championshipin December last year.
In the note, the team says it has already identified 10 fans who were involved in the intolerance episode. The club also reported that it will suspend the title of supporter of the accused and will also report them to justice.

“The entity does not consider its fans racist, but the commission of these specific incidents forced them to take the appropriate measures,” Valladolid said in the statement.
It is worth remembering that the owner of the Spanish team is Ronaldo Fenômeno. At the time of the attacks, the Brazilian sided with Vini Jr. and expressed solidarity with the 22-year-old athlete. Real Madrid’s number 20 has been suffering from prejudiced acts in several matches this season.
