The Carnival holiday is one of the longest of the year. Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 February will join the non-recoverable holidays: Monday 20 and Tuesday 21 February.

Rumiñahui has cultural manifestations to offer the tourist, crafts, gastronomy, monuments, among others.
This canton is located in a privileged valley for its historical, patrimonial, scenic and ethnic wealth; It also has a spring climate and exquisite cuisine. The visitor can enjoy monuments such as the hummingbird, the corn and the resistance.
The historic center and the mother church are in the center of this town, where you can still see adobe houses, with tile roofs and wooden balconies and windows.
Also, you can enjoy waterfalls, rivers and elevations that allow natural contact in the middle of the pure air that circulates between grasslands and forests. For the more intrepid, the options are climbing, canopy and hiking along the Pita River. (YO)
