In Mohito’s offer, my eyes were drawn to a midi shirt dress with a zebra pattern. It is fastened with buttons and has a black leather belt with a small pouch at the waist. The 7/8 length sleeves stand out, which are translucent. This theme was often featured during fashion shows, which is why it has become one of the hottest trends of spring 2023.
The loose cut and the marked indentation at the waist mask the protruding belly. The material on the hips is loose, so you can’t see if they are wide. These are the main secrets of shirtdresses. In addition, buttons along the entire length slim the body, and a classic collar with a slightly unbuttoned neckline slims the neck and shoulders.

As for the cut, the tricks characteristic of shirtdressers were used here: buttons, a tied belt and sleeves with cuffs.
Dresses maintained in such a casual style will work well in combination with comfortable shoes, e.g. loafers or oxfords. You can also try pairing with boots. Midi lengths look good when worn with coats or jackets that reach over the hip line.

H&M does not stay behind and also presents a whole collection of various shirtdresses. Often, the proposals of the chain store do not have a belt like the cream model with flowers. Of course, nothing stands in the way of adding one and marking the waist. The H&M shirtdress is a relaxed button down dress with a rounded hem, collar and cuffed sleeves. Larger sizes are also available.
These types of shirts are perfect for everyday wear. They go great with light sneakers, and in the summer with sandals. For this, you can throw on a loose sweater or even a sweatshirt, thus mixing styles.
