Without Mbappé and Neymar, Messi decides and PSG beats Toulouse in the French match

O Paris Saint Germain overcame the absence of Neymar and Mbappé to beat Toulouse this Saturday, by 2 to 1. The team had goals from Messi and Hakimi to turn the match around and increase its advantage in the leadership of French Championship.

Now, PSG has 54 points conquered in the competition, eight ahead of Olympique de Marseille, in second place. However, the rivals enter the field this Sunday, against Nice, at 4:45 pm (Brasília time), and can shorten the distance.

The club had already warned in a statement that Neymar and Mbappé would be absent from this Saturday’s appointment. The first, with a discomfort in the adductor, was spared even in the last round, against Montpellier. The Frenchman injured his hamstring precisely in this game and should be sidelined for at least 15 days.

Despite the positive result, this Saturday’s duel brought another problem for coach Christophe Galtier: defensive midfielder Renato Sanches felt pain and had to be replaced in the first half.
