The Pumas club demanded five million dollars from Dani Alves accused of rape
The Mexican club Pumas demanded compensation from former team player Dani Alves accused of rape. This became known to UOL.
The club, which previously terminated the contract with Alves, intends to receive five million dollars from the player. It is noted that the amount was prescribed in the player’s agreement and began to operate in case of an anti-doping rule violation, a public scandal or a crime.
Alves was arrested on January 20. The alleged victim of the football player reported that on December 30, he locked her in the toilet of the Sutton nightclub, where he beat and raped her. Doctors confirmed that the girl had injuries indicating resistance. The football player faces from 4 to 12 years in prison.
Alves is the most titled football player in the world. He won the championships of France, Italy, Spain and won the national cups of these countries. As part of the Brazilian national team, the defender won the Olympic Games and the World Youth Championship, and also won the America’s Cup and the Confederations Cup twice each.
