Qualifications for the World Cup competition in Bad Mitterndorf took place on Friday. Five Poles took part in them – Dawid Kubacki, Kamil Stoch, Piotr Żyła, Aleksander Zniszczoł and Jakub Wolny. The conditions during the competition were very poor, especially the wind. . Dawid Kubacki (228 meters) presented himself best, taking 4th place. Successful flights were also made by Piotr Żyła (223 meters) and Kamil Stoch (205 meters), who finished 8th and 14th respectively. Aleksander Zniszczol (179.5 meters) also advanced to the main competition. Unfortunately, we will not see a complete set of Poles in it, because Jakub Wolny landed on the 149th meter and took 41st position. The qualification was won by Stefan Kraft (233 meters).

The World Cup competition in Bad Mitterndorf is ahead of us

Now we are facing two main competitions of the World Cup. The first will take place on Saturday, January 28 at 14:15. The next competition is scheduled for Sunday, January 29. First, however, there will be qualifiers, which will start at 12:40. Almost immediately after them, because at 14:15, the second individual competition is scheduled.

The upcoming competition will be very important in the context of the overall World Cup standings. After the competition in Sapporo, Dawid Kubacki remained the leader. – I sincerely hope that I won’t finish second in the World Cup, less than 44 points behind the winner. I will never accept such a result –
