Manchester City topped the ranking of clubs with the highest income for the second year in a row
The consulting company Deloitte named the football clubs that showed the highest income in the 2021/2022 season. The rating is presented on the website of the organization.
Manchester City topped the world rankings for the second year in a row. The team’s income was 731 million euros, which is 66 million more than in the previous season. Second place was retained by Real Madrid, who received 713.8 million euros. Closed the top three English “Liverpool” with a figure of 701.7 million.
The total income of the 20 clubs included in the ranking amounted to 9.2 billion euros. Thus, compared to last year, the amount increased by 13 percent.
Not a single Russian club appeared in the ranking. Last season, the only representative of Russia was Zenit. The Petersburg team then took 19th place with an income of 212 million euros.
