UFC commentator Joe Rogan explains the dominance of the Nurmagomedov team in MMA discipline
American actor, stand-up comedian and commentator of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Joe Rogan called the advantage of athletes from the team of Russian Khabib Nurmagomedov over other fighters. His words are quoted by Essentially Sports with reference to The Joe Rogan Experience podcast.
Rogan said that Nurmagomedov’s students are successful in mixed martial arts (MMA) due to their discipline. “All they care about is family, religion, training. They don’t hit girls, they don’t drink alcohol. They just train and are dedicated to their work, which is why they dominate, ”the specialist explained.
On January 7, it became known about the departure of Nurmagomedov from MMA. It was clarified that he would not train and be present with the team at the training camp in order to spend more time with his family.
Nurmagomedov defended the UFC lightweight title three times, after which he retired. The athlete won 29 victories in 29 professional fights under the rules of MMA. The Russian held his last fight in October 2020, being stronger than the American Justin Gaethje.
