Ecuadorian tennis player Tania Andrade is part of the ITF (International Tennis Federation) youth team, which brings together talented players from developing countries, who are financed through the Grand Slam Player Development Program and will play the Australian Open Junior.
The team is made up of: Adriano Dzhénev (Bulgaria), Fernando Cavallo (Argentina), Iliyán Radulov (Bulgaria), Matej Dodig (Croatia), Madeleine Jessup (Taipei), Tania Andrade (Ecuador), Yoana Konstantinova (Bulgaria) and Malwina Rowinska (Poland). Coaches Roberta Burzagli (Brazil) and James Connelly (Australia).

Players travel as part of the ITF team, and have access to top-performing coaches and gain exposure to events outside their region and competition at a very high level.
Tania Andrade, 17 years old, is ranked 67th in the ITF Junior ranking, she is part of the Junior Davis Cup and Billie Jean King Cup Program, promoted by the Ecuadorian Tennis Federation (FET).

The calendar that the team will face is focused on competitions in Australia. On January 8, the arrival of the team members in Australia is scheduled. From January 9 to 12 they will be in a training camp in the city of Traralgon.
From January 13 to 18, they will compete in the Traralgon J300; and, from January 21 to 28, they will be present at the J500 Australian Open Junior Championship.
The ITF (touring team) team is a key development initiative and essentially opens the door for players to compete in regional and international junior competitions, paving the way for their rise to the professional game.
During 2023, the Grand Slam Player Development Program will have teams competing at the ITF World Tennis Tour level, junior under-18 events, and top-level under-14 regional and international events. Teams operate in all six regions globally. (D)
