After conceding the goal, Eibar tried to respond and came close to leveling on 74 minutes, but goalkeeper Kellyan García prevented the gunsmiths’ goal by clearing away a shot from distance by Blanco Leschuk.
In the final stretch, the gunsmiths had several opportunities to tie. In the 90th minute, goalkeeper Kellyan García saved Rahmani’s shot, after a great play by the Armero footballer. Already at the last minute, the Basque team enjoyed a couple of occasions; Kellyan García prevented Eibar’s goal by clearing a volley from Venancio for a corner, and in that corner Venancio himself sent his shot wide after the ball was loose inside the area.
Eibar had no success in the last plays, lost the game (1-0), and was eliminated from the Copa del Rey.
