From October 17 to 21, the 2022 FET Cup National Absolute Championship will be held, on the courts of the Guayaquil Tennis Club (Samborondón) annex, where 128 tennis players from categories 12, 14, 16 and 18 will participate.
In each category, both in women and men, the 16 best tennis players located in the ranking national 2022. The tennis players who will meet at this tournament that defines the best national tennis player in each of the categories come from Guayas, Pichincha, Chimborazo, Manabí, Tungurahua, Esmeraldas, El Oro, Los Ríos and Imbabura.
The inauguration ceremony is scheduled for Monday, October 17, at 5:00 p.m., on cement field 1. While the closing and award ceremony (singles) will take place on Friday, October 21, not before 3:00 p.m., at the Match Point restaurant of the club headquarters.
The doubles finals will be played on Thursday, October 20, and the singles finals on Friday, October 21. Both Thursday and Friday will be broadcast by CNT TV two doubles finals and two singles finals, respectively.
After the culmination of the FET Cup, the best tennis players of the season will be established, who will be honored at the Ecuadorian Tennis Gala to be held on December 21.
In the list that will be made official this Friday there are several players who will play in two categories, such as Felipe Rivadeneira from Chimboracense (16 and 18 years old), Isabella Yépez from Pichinchana (12 and 14 years old), Estefanía Novoa from Guayas (12 and 14 years old), Andrea Robles (16 and 18 years old), from Guayas Lucas Yúnez (14 and 16 years old), among others.
